I hope that all is well with you and your families.
On April 28th, I was re-elected as the Member of Parliament for the new riding of Oakville East. Serving the people of Oakville has been the honour of my life, and I am grateful and humbled to continue to serve this incredible community.
As I prepare to return to the House of Commons for another term as your voice in Ottawa, I will be focused on strengthening Oakville, including in three key priority areas. These areas are based on the messages and feedback I heard most often from members of our community: protecting and building the Canadian economy, strengthening community safety, and addressing affordability concerns in Oakville through programs like child care, dental care, and a middle-class tax cut.
On May 13th, Prime Minister Mark Carney announced his new Cabinet, and I was honoured to be named Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. I look forward to working with Prime Minister Carney and our team to build a safer, fairer world and deliver for Canadians.
This is a critical time for Canada, and there are certainly challenges ahead of us. However, I am determined to meet these challenges head on, and I cannot wait to return to the House of Commons to serve another term as Oakville East's voice in Ottawa.
As always, please reach out to my office if there is anything with which we can help you with.
I hope everyone has a wonderful long weekend

Mother's Day at Vaishno Devi Temple
Thank you to Vaishno Devi Temple for inviting me to attend this year’s Mother’s Day celebration! It warmed my heart to see so many families across Oakville coming to celebrate and remember our mothers together.

Celebrating Asian Heritage Month at Town Hall! It was fantastic to watch traditional dance and culture from members of our Asian Canadian community on full display.
